September 30, 2026 The Short Hills Association has a long history of hosting public forums before township elections in the fall. These forums let candidates for the Township Committee present their views and answer questions from the public. Mounting these forums involves a complicated set of logistics, and arriving at an agreement about forum rules that all candidates can accept has taken longer than usual this year. There is always back and forth in negotiations such as these and disagreements are to be expected. We trust that both sides are acting in good faith, and we hope we are able to resolve the single remaining issue in time to host this year’s forum. -- The Short Hills Association -- Candidate Forum Committee |
